i love nails!!

so i paint my nails a lot. like every few days. i love it :) i decided to share my favorite polishes and must have supplies.

stickers are underestimated these days. they add a simple accent and are just cute!

probably the coolest way to do nails. they stay on forever too! just wish you could use them one at a time, like for accent nails, but they dry up if you leave the package open :(

these have been my go to colors this season...quite the mix, i know.

i love this combo. and how can you deny a hello kitty shaped bottle?!

my must have supplies include...

3. a wonderful tool: perfect for touch ups

4. love this tool...not sure what it is technically called, but it cleans under nails super well and it quite handy.

5. this is awesome file. it has four different sides that file, shape, buff and shine! wow!

nook revamp

inspired by our pretty new record player, i decided to redo the nook where the player will live :) i feel like this was a big upgrade and makes our little apartment more mature. we definitely love it!

oh boy.

i don't know what's happening....but i just finished a digital scrapbook layout!! i always said that i would probably never start digitally scrapbooking because i always loved the pretty papers and supplies, but now that i'm a pro in photoshop, it kind of hopped into my lap one day. and to be honest, it was a lot of fun :)

i love hands on paper scrapbooking too much to leave it behind now, but i will probably make a few digital pages here and there!

planner restyle

i love getting a new planner/life organizer for the new year, even though I usually change my system mid-year. but i have a feel this year that i will keep this one for a while. it is prefect! it has the weekly view with enough space to write down plans, with the opposite page completely lined paper so i can make my to-do list for the week! exactly what i need. i was pretty excited when i found it :)

but the only problem was that it was plain jane black. which is kind of boring to me. so i gathered some of my favorite stickers from my stash and went to town!! i had fun and love the mismatch and collage style of it now.


i love it! it even has a pocket in the back to hold those loose papers and such. and it is completely recyclable-go green :)

new year deserves a new look

yea, its all fancy at this blog now. i love it! i feel like it fits my personality and interests perfectly. my favorite part is my new banner. i used an old photo of my grandparents in their first apartment together (aww!) and made it pretty using clip art from pugly pixel. My grandparents display the perfect example of how true love survives and grows. i always think of them when struggles come up between david and i, then i know we can work through it together.
