21 things//things 12-17

thing 12: i consider myself a "jack of all trades". i have dabbled in a lot of different types of crafting, almost too many to count. i sometimes wish i was just really good at one thing...

thing 13: i am described as a lead foot driver. what can i say, i like to go fast!

thing 14: since i started teaching myself how to sew, i am now the family seamstress. almost every holiday i come home with a few sewing projects for various family members. i don't really mind.

thing 15: i have a weird problem with my food touching. i don't like things to touch on my plate; like if the salad dressing runs on my chicken, i am not happy. thats why i am a big fan of divided plates! greatest idea ever.

thing 16: i actually preferred to play alone when i was younger. i really didn't mind. i am still kind of that way, i do my best crafting when i have the place to myself.

thing 17: i don't play video games, expect racing games. i get way into them and way upset if i lose. i'm sure this has to do with thing 13 :)

thing 6: i have been known to buy something just for the pretty packaging. if it comes in something cute, why not get it?!

thing 7: i am my worst art critic. i always find my flaws in my work...i can't help it.

thing 8: when i get nervous, i don't pick my nails; i pick my nail polish.

thing 9: i have a ton of journals. i start a new one once i get bored of the other one or i find a cuter one :)

thing 10: when i was little i used to hide my favorite toys when people came over. i was good at sharing, just not my favorite toys, haha.

thing 11: one of my favorite candies are lollipops...lollipop, lollipop, oh, lolly lollipop!!

21 things before I turn 21

i saw this feature over at love elycia that she did to countdown to her birthday that i thought was just super fun, so i'm joining the fun!! you will learn some interesting things about me before i turn the big 2-1 :) so here are my first 5 things...

thing 1: i have had 7 different hair colors over the years...i'm not even sure what is my natural hair color anymore :)

thing 2: i have an unnatural fear of the mall santas. i'm pretty sure my parents traumatized me when i was little and it has resonated in me ever since. i will still avoid the santa area in the malls during the holiday.

thing 3: i love gel pens. i have so many!! i was that girl in school that carried every single color with them and used multiple colors on one page (my teachers hated that)!

thing 4: i have a hate/love relationship with coffee. i absolutely love the smell of coffee, but despise the taste.

thing 5: i love it when things are color coordinated. i have almost everything organized by color, my craft supplies, my t-shirts, my jewelry...etc.

instagram is a must have! i love the filters that is built into the app and seeing everyone else's cool photos.

fusioncam is also a cool photo app. you can blend two photos, which can create some awesome photos!

sketches 2 scrapbook is a wonderful app for any scrapper. it gives you a ton of sketches to give you inspiration for your next layout.

happy (belated) birthday to my boy!

thanks blogger for being down and erasing my lovely post about my special boy's birthday...now i have to post a belated birthday post. not as special.
well anyhow, my favorite boy in the world is now the big 2-1 :) so i decided i would post 21 things/reasons why i love this boy!

1. he has the best smile
2. he loves to snuggle
3. i love his laugh
4. he lets me decorate however i want
5. i love how much he loves our record player
6. i think its adorable how he says dutchess is our child
7. i love how perfectly he fits into my family

12. he has a weird control freak thing about the radio volume-its hilarious

random thoughts

i have nothing really interesting to say today, my mind is just full of randomness (monkey monkey underpants!--that's for you Hilary). so i won't judge you if you don't want to read this post...

• exactly one week from today i will be on summer break. i'm so excited. i'm completely drained from this semester.
• i wanted to open my new etsy shop on may 1st...as you can see that has been delayed.
• apartment hunting sucks.
• david made my lunch today. i think that is just adorable.
• i somehow magically fit in my old pair of bermuda shorts (totally wearing them today!)
• hulu plus on xbox is my new favorite. brilliant.
• i'm officially caught up on grey's anatomy and anxiously waiting for the next episode.
• i'm completely craving cheese puffs right now.

i think that is all...i'll be back tomorrow with a more in depth post.

i treated myself to a new record the other day! so i can officially check off one on my wish list :) i love checking things off. makes me feel accomplished. i'm really enjoying this record so far. i only knew one or two songs before i got it and now i am falling in love with the rest of the album. i'm a happy girl.
